Tax Provision Support for Corporate Entities

  • Legal entity - Gather accounting and tax information to support non-deductible items (depreciation, meals & entertainment, pension accruals, accrued dividends, etc.).
  • Legal entity – Gather accounting and tax information to support estimates for CCA, CEC, 20(1)(e) deductions, etc.
  • Legal entity - Gather information for the estimation of provincial capital taxes.
  • Legal entity - Gather information for the estimation of LCT for financial institutions (where required).
  • Consolidated basis - Any required research on new/changes to legislation or changes in business model.
  • Gather information and assist in the determination of the future tax balances for the various legal entities and on a consolidated basis.
  • Liaise with internal tax staff in various jurisdictions to ensure all material entities picked up for consolidated provision.
  • Prepare referenced supported working papers for management review (also may be made available to external audit).
  • Availability to speak to external audit if required.
